ABOUT US
Established in 2019, Carbon Design Studio is a collaborative, inter-disciplinary, architectural design practice based in Jaipur founded by Ar. Amaresh Singh, Ar. Ayush Chhajed and Poornima Dangayach. The former two graduated from Aayojan School of Architecture in 2016 while Poornima completed the Diploma in Interior Design from Government Women’s Polytechnic College in 2016.
Considering the diverse working experience of the founders in fields of architecture, interiors, landscape and heritage conservation, the studio has had passionate influences of both traditional and contemporary practices and strives to explore the best of both worlds.
The practice concerns itself with contextually relevant design by reinterpretation of regional architectural roots to attain a design which celebrates the ethos of the place and time with a contemporary undertone. The studio believes in constantly exploring the parameters of design and blurring the boundaries between architecture, landscape, interiors and sustainability in the sense of its social relevance, economic viability and environmental impact.
We understand the distinctive needs of the client and work in tandem with the client to achieve customised and specific architectural experiences while acknowledging the needs of program and locale through a pragmatic approach.
